Howard Dean--a lying hypocrite
Howard Dean is almost comical these days. He will go on a national news program, say things that are completely false with a straight face, and have no problem with it at all. You almost want to admire him; he's kind of a like those Big Tobacco execs who testified repeatedly that cigarrettes aren't addictive or that they don't cause lung cancer. Let's take a look at one statement from Hardball last night--4/5/2006 (Video here), (Transcript here),
Dean: "This is not so much a difference about policy, although there is one, it’s a difference of how you treat people. Are we going to treat people with respect? Yes."
Examples of Howard Dean treating people with respect:
1) Describing the struggle between Republicans and Democrats: "a struggle of good and evil. And we're the good." (i.e. Republicans are evil)
2) On describing why Democrats lost the 2004 elections: We lost the 2004 elections to "brain-dead" Republicans because of the Democrats' "tendency to explain every issue in half an hour of detail."
3) Referring to Republicans: "Most of them had never made an honest living in their lives.."; "I'm Tired Of The Ayatollahs Of The Right Wing..."; "I hate the Republicans..."; "The Republicans are all about suppressing votes...."
