Liberal hypocrisy--example #320

I actually am for strict interpretation of election laws, after I argued against them...

That John Kerry quote just keeps coming back in different forms..

Back in 2004, Democrats argued vigorously that someone who drops out of a race after the mandatory date for being replaced on the ballot (Robert Toricelli), should still be replaced. And they won

Fast forward to 2006, and now Democrats argue that someone who announces they are dropping out of a race after the mandatory deadline should stay on the ballot. And they win

So either you are for strict interpretation or you are for "liberally construed" election laws to provide a "full and fair ballot choice for the voters.."?

Or when you're a hypocritic liberal, both..
